L-Mesitran Tulle is a non-adhesive polyethylene dressing coated with the patented L-Mesitran Soft wound gel. This product is well suited for the treatment of acute or (contaminated) chronic wounds. L-Mesitran Tulle is single-use for deep and superficial wounds with small to larger amounts of exudate. The synthetic gauze coated with L-Mesitran Soft wound gel has antibacterial properties, debridizes and promotes wound healing.
L-Mesitran Soft wound gel contains: 40% Medical Grade Honey, hypoallergenic lanolin (Medilan®), propylene glycol,
PEG 4000 and vitamins C & E.
When L-Mesitran Soft wound gel comes into contact with the wound, wound fluid is drawn from the surrounding tissue. This creates a moist wound healing environment. This stimulates wound healing through autolysis of necrosis
and devitalized tissue, supports wound bed preparation and promotes epithelialization. L-Mesitran has
antibacterial properties.
