L-Mesitran Foam non-adherent foam dressing 10x10 cm

L-Mesitran Foam is a sterile non-adherent hydrophilic polyurethane foam dressing. The foam dressing is approximately 3 mm thick and is coated on
coated on one side with the patented L-Mesitran Soft wound gel. The foam dressing forms a cushioning layer that protects the
wound against mechanical stress, friction, pressure and shearing forces. In addition, the foam can absorb and retain wound fluids very well. L-Mesitran Foam creates a regenerative environment and can be used in the treatment
of a wide range of exuding wounds.

L-Mesitran Soft wound gel contains: 40% Medical Grade Honey, hypoallergenic lanolin (Medilan®), propylene glycol,
PEG 4000 and vitamins C & E.

When L-Mesitran Soft wound gel comes into contact with the wound, wound fluid is withdrawn from the surrounding
tissue. This creates a moist wound healing environment. This stimulates wound healing through autolysis of necrosis and
devitalized tissue, supports wound bed preparation and promotes epithelialization. L-Mesitran has
antibacterial properties.
