The Sweet Iron baucher from Trust is a single broken snaffle bit. This bit has separate rings for the cheeks creating a very slight leverage behind the ears and in the mouth. This bit lies still in the mouth and has a positive effect on horses that carry their heads too high, these lower their heads and relax more in the upper neck area. 

The sweet iron bits from Trust:

Sweet iron, through contact with (air) moisture, develops surface cough that tastes sweet and naturally stimulates salivation. This will cause the horse to foam more, which improves acceptance of the bit. This rusting process (oxidation) changes the blue color of TRUST bits to brownish gray. When temporarily not using a sweet-iron bit, an orange-brown rust layer may form on the mouthpiece. This can be easily removed by wiping the bit with a damp cloth.
